How to disable annoying Tracker (gathering file index to speed up for file searching)

Tracker tool is one of heavy user of CPU capacity, and do cause read/write operation of SSD, which may reduce the life time of it.

However, if remove Tracker tool, and related, I have to remove some of desktop software in spite of no glue from Tracker.

Therefore, the below is workaround without uninstallation of unwanted desktop software, and Tracker.

(Notice !, these command have to be type in user terminal, not in root privilegeterminal.) 

# systemctl --user mask tracker-store.service tracker-miner-fs.service tracker-miner-rss.service tracker-extract.service tracker-miner-apps.service tracker-writeback.service

 

# tracker reset --hard

 

Reboot the system...
